Institut Cirkulární Ekonomiky (Institute of circular economy) is an organization that focuses on innovative environmental management. Together with our partners, we are working on projects that allow the transition from linear to circular operating system. We are a fast growing team of young and creative people, with a core of students coming from the Wageningen University in the Netherlands. SMART IDEAS We are interested in how can the circular economy principles be aplied on the Smart City vision. At this moment, we are developing a circular organic waste treatment system for cities and municipalities within Czech Republic. EDUCATION We organise an informative meetings focused on home composting as a way to minimize and prevent the origin of waste. We acquaint Czech citizens with circular economy principles. DISCUSSION WITH STAKEHOLDERS We are initiating discussion with different stakeholders. We bring practical inputs that we are encountering daily, in order to improve and develop effective responses on burning issues.
