Description
Open Forest Protocol (OFP) is designed to foster and enable sustainable financing for forest projects worldwide. It does so by offering a robust MRV (measurement, reporting and verification) that projects can access, regardless of their size or location, at no entrance cost. Eligible, high-integrity projects (growing biodiverse forests and involving local communities) can access OFP’s carbon financing platform. This provides continuous and direct revenue to local communities, allowing them to harness the power of their land.
