Description
Solvatten® is a social enterprise making portable solar-powered jerry cans for heating and treating water. We work in partnership with governments, local organizations, and corporations to provide Solvatten to millions of people living off-grid. We have since we started in 2009 initiated 45 projects reaching +600.000 people living in +20 countries where the need is great and reduced the need to use fuelwood for boiling that amounts to 1 million tons of carbon pollutions.

The Solvatten climate project is a way to counteract the warming effects of climate pollutions. We help businesses contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and mitigate the effects from climate pollutions. Our clients can claim a climate mitigation activity approved and registerd by Gold Standard. (GS Certified climate carbon offsetting project with social impact).
